What are you doing Saturday, April 25th, Salt Lake friends?
My little brother and his cover band Mimic will be playing at the pre-game festivites outside of Rio Tinto stadium on Saturday, April 25th. They will start around 5:00 and play until about 6:40. It’s free!
After the concert and festivities, you can go to the ReAl Salt Lake soccer game and join my brother(s) and other people who dress their innocent children in MLS gear.
Check out Mimic’s cool and funny site here. My brother Jesse is the adorable lead singer and guitarist. (If you can’t make it to the concert, you should book them for your next party or event.)

That is very cool! I listened to some of their music, and they really are good. Barry and Melody have season tickets to the Real – good fun.
I take no offense for I have no brothers at all.
Sounds like a lot of fun- hopefully we’ll be able to go!
My youngest brother is EVERY bit as talented and awesome as your little brother! So there.
your little brother is definitely cooler than mine.
i’m going to have to remind him of that next time i see him.
That bottom picture of your niece is so stinking cute!
Be careful. My little brother is your husband. I think he is thinking about starting up a band and playing here on April 25th
all the way here from Landenberg, PA. At the same stadium. Ask him.
Dang, I will be out of town during that concert. But I might steal that baby when i get back. THAT CHUB IS AWESOME!!!
I’m a lurker, lured over by clever and good and fun writing from a mutual friend’s blog. However, your clever and good and fun writing is hard to read against your ferns and wheat and wooden background.
I’d rather be reading your stuff than wielding my scythe. Are you considering a change anytime soon?

Dude. he is cooler than my little brother. But then again – most people are.
Our family was well represented at their show today and you would have been proud, Tiff. They are good and I just can’t get enough of watching my baby boy perform. Abby maintained that precious smile throughout the performance. There was a guy with a video camera and an official tag who took an up close and personal shot of Abby, and lots of footage of the band. I wonder what it was for.
