1. Compared to earlier in the day, this room is sort of clean.
2. Small child sitting on the chair is wearing the same Batman pajamas put on more than 24 hours earlier.
3. Larger child is wearing same pajama pants from previous day, plus new Penn State jersey, plus new Jazz hoodie.
4. Small child is in some sort of DS-induced trance only broken by brief intervals of joyous dancing.
4. Larger child is in some sort of Wii-induced trance only broken by brief intervals of eating and peeing.
5. Small dog on floor has small tufts of polyester stuffing at the corners of her mouth—leftovers from her stuffed squirrel Christmas present.
6. Adults (not pictured here) are in high-calorie-induced trances. And stretchy pants.

I could so relate to the high-calorie-induced trances. We have those going on at our house too! I love how your photo just sort of summed up the day for all of us. So true to life!
That room they’re in is great! I love the windows and the built-in bookshelves. So nice.
The Wii is fun, isn’t it? The girls have one. Now you need to get…I forgot what it’s called, Rock Band? Something like that. You actually have your own mic, and sing along to awesome songs, while the family plays back up on their instruments. It’s a dream come true for those of us who once had visions of fame and glory.
We too experienced the joy of the Wii, the 2 days spent in pjs & the high-calorie induced comas of the holidays! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
