Right here, right now

October 24th, 2008

I am contemplating vacuuming.
I am avoiding my work.
I am listening to the dryer tumbling our clothes.
I am in my yellow office.
I am surrounded by catalog layout sheets.
I am sporting curly hair today.
I am sporting curly hair most days now.
I am wearing my new boots.
I am in love with my new boots.
I am planning to ask my new boots to go steady. At least for the winter.
I am wondering what it takes to write a book.
I am looking forward to a relaxing, low-key weekend.
I am thinking about stuff we need from the grocery store.
I am wondering who we need to buy Christmas presents for.
I am tired of negative political rumors and e-mails.
I am recovered from my bee/wasp/hornet sting, although I still have a scar.
I am thinking about my little brothers and how they are all grown up now with grownup lives.
I am smiling about Max in his Indiana Jones costume.
I am excited to show Ryan a funny clip from TV last night.
I am amazed at how equally dumb and wise I was in my twenties.
I am thankful for the beauty of nature.
I am embarrassed that it took me so long to see it.
I am tired of finding the toilet not flushed.
I am refreshed from my workout this morning.
I am wondering what to eat.
I am thankful for phones.
I am disappointed in myself sometimes.
I am hungry for lunch.
I am going to do something about that.

What about you? What are you doing right now?
