I just got off the phone with the animal hospital. Luckily, someone called and cancelled their Monday morning appointment, so I nabbed it for Lucy. Otherwise, the next opening was December eleven-billionth!
This is particularly good news because Lucy is not really enjoying her doggie diapers.
And because I am not really enjoying her mid-night hormonal rages.
And because Ryan and I are going out of town next weekend for an interview, and I didn’t know how I was going to explain to our babysitter, Heidi, that she was going to have to change doggie diapers, wash and dry the doggie bed daily, soothe the doggie in the middle of the night, and figure the Pamprin dosage for our little seven-pound sister. Oh yeah, and watch our other kids.
