Hey Thanks!

September 24th, 2007

Yesterday my baby brother Jesse came over for some chili and then I forced my laptop on him and asked him to help me fix my web page. He is responsible for my Extreme Blog Makeover. He figured out what I haven’t been able to for the last month, because he is a fancy schmancy web designer and works for a lot more than chili and pumpkin cake. Check out his work here, here, and here.

I like this template because the wheat background looks a lot like the wallpaper in my childhood kitchen. (Am I right, sibs?) I also like the shabby chair out in the field, and I imagine myself sitting in it each day and taking a moment to jot down the random thoughts that cross my mind. Don’t you write down your thoughts in a shabby chair out in the middle of a grassy field? Probably not, unless you’re from Arkansas.

I love the chair – it looks perfect for curling up with a book or a notebook. Wish I had a web designer brother to give me a personalized extreme blog makeover! Lucky you.

This is completely gorgeous. I love every inch of it. And I do mean LOVE. Also, p.s. I am really sad I didn’t get to eat chili and pumpkin cake the other night. That sounds gooood. Sigh.

Yup, it does echo our childhood kitchen. You need some butterflies, though. It’s a beautiful make-over. Hey, Jesse, I have one or two great meals I’d be willing to make for you!

Fun update, Tiff. Pretty close on the wall paper. It was more of a fern motif if I’m not mistaken, and I think I hung it.
The chair, I like the photo – great feeling. But I guarantee, I would have insect bites and creepy crawlers, bees buzzing my head. I always think it will be fun to write outside, but then reality, (aka ants, bees, spiders, flies) strikes and I’m happy to take to my ‘tent’.
Jesse, you are amazing. Great work.

    nice work jesse.

Thanks, but it’s not my design. I just put the template that Tiff selected into the right folder on her server.
