Do you know what it is?
I’ve had mine for a long time and finally made it my cell phone ringtone since “Bittersweet Symphony” is not available anymore. Now, every time my phone rings, I hear this: “Whatever tomorrow brings, I’ll be there with open arms and open eyes.” The song is “Drive” by Incubus and I’ve always loved it.
It used to represent the idea that I should take charge of my life and choose it’s direction actively, which was an important theme for me to pursue. But now it’s come to represent the idea that sometimes Life comes at you from a thousand different directions in a million different flavors and with a billion different emotions. And my goal is to stand there, open-armed, open-eyed, and screaming, “HOLY CRAP, WHEN DOES IT ALL END FOR CRYING OUT LOUD?”
So, what is your theme song and why?
i useta think i should use the ac/dc song “highway to hell”. but now, i think i need to take a detour. maybe, “somewhere over the rainbow”.
